Artist Overview

With a powerhouse vocal range and a purpose-driven mission, Evelynroze is a 23-year-old Singer/Songwriter, Advocate, Actress, and Artist/Media Director whose work charts a journey through pain, rebirth, and resilience. Rooted in Country and Rock, she blends a wide spectrum of influences to create a sound that is cinematic, rebellious, and unapologetically raw, offering a voice for those learning how to rise above.

Early Life & Origins

Raised among the rural backdrops of New England, Evelyn grew up surrounded by her parents’ eclectic taste in music. Singing along to the radio in the car, her natural spark for music was evident early on. She began dance lessons, which led her to musical theater at just age 4, the moment the big dream in her heart fully revealed itself.

Overcoming Adversity

While summers were filled with music and outdoor adventures that became her refuge, school was far more challenging. Placed on an IEP in elementary school, Evelyn faced the stigma, isolation, and underestimation tied to learning disabilities, contributing to a damaging self-image. At just 11 years old, she began writing music as a way to cope, a turning point that marked the true beginning of her artistry. What followed, however, was years of severe bullying over her singing, her passions, her appearance, and for what felt like simply existing as herself. Even into early college, she continued to face voices trying to discredit and tear her down.

Forging Her Sound

In late high school, Evelyn began recording and releasing music, debuting with a melancholy country ballad before experimenting across genres throughout college. Over time, she found a sound that finally felt like home, pulling from Country, ’90s and early 2000s rock, and pop punk. In the fall of 2022, she formed her backing band, affectionately nicknamed the Evelynroze Band, and began performing live throughout New England.

Rise to Recognition

In 2019, Evelyn began sharing music history and fashion history content on TikTok, connecting with audiences through her deep love of storytelling and sound. During her early college years, she opened up about her healing journey, candidly revealing the meaning behind her songs. Her transparency began to resonate with young people who saw themselves in her story. Her breakthrough came in 2023 during her sophomore year of college, when a comedic skit-style video about being teased went viral. The video struck a chord with thousands, dramatically expanding her platform. From there, she continued sharing her music while speaking openly about growing up neurodivergent and experiencing bullying, emerging as a fierce voice for neurodivergent youth and young people facing adversity.

She went on to win Best New Artist (2023) at the Worcester Music Awards, followed by Best Female Vocalist (2024) and Best Live Act (2025) in subsequent years. In 2025, she was nominated for Country Artist of the Year at the Boston Music Awards. In 2024, Evelyn was selected for Plaid Dog’s Rising Artist Campaign, raising over $10,000 to complete her debut album.

On May 30, 2025, she released the first half of her debut project, Trials of the Flame. Its opening single, “Flame,” gained momentum after multiple TikTok videos surpassed 100,000 views, inspiring fans to use the sound to share their own stories of survival and strength.
