About

Evelynroze is a multifaceted and award-winning singer/songwriter, actress, and advocate from Massachusetts, whose work bridges the gap between art and human connection. Through her music, performances, and thought-provoking content, she uses her gifts to advocate and inspire audiences to embrace resilience and find strength in vulnerability.

Growing up in a small town, Evelynroze was immersed in her father’s diverse musical taste, fostering a deep love for classic rock and country. By age five, her passion for music became evident, leading her to dance lessons. Soon after, she was scouted for musical theater when instructors recognized her natural stage presence—allowing her to join their program despite being under the age requirement. This early opportunity ignited her love for performing. However, school presented it’s challenges. Placed on an IEP, Evelyn faced the stigma often associated with learning disabilities, which took a toll on her confidence and made her question her dreams.

Following that, Evelyn endured severe bullying throughout late middle school and high school, with peers mocking her singing, music taste, and fashion sense, going so far as to throw her songbook into a toilet and constantly filming and editing videos of her for ridicule. The harassment continued into early college, where rumors about the pursuits of her music career spread. In the middle of the distress, Evelyn began writing songs as an emotional outlet, and by late high school, she had started releasing them. In college, she met guitarist Reid Plonsky, and the two played as a duo. By late 2022, Evelyn and Reid formed The Evelynroze Band to help support her music and performances. In February 2023, Evelyn was honored as "Best Upcoming Artist" at the Worcester Music Awards. She then went on to win “Best Female Vocalist” in 2024 and “Best Live Act” in 2025.

Around this time, her advocacy for mental health, learning disabilities, and resilience went viral, significantly boosting her platform and bringing new attention to her music and live shows. Her new music, which will be out soon, can be described as Desert Grunge. Evelyn’s biggest inspirations are Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, Pink Foyd, and several other Classic Rock and Country Artists.
