“Trials of the Flame: Rise of the Sun, Pt 1” OUT NOW!

About Trials of the Flame: Rise of the Sun

Evelynroze’s debut album, Trials of the Flame: Rise of the Sun, is a raw and powerful journey through the stages of reclaiming one’s spark after adversity. The first chapter, Trials of the Flame, is out now—unfolding a blend of country grit, classic rock soul, and grunge edge. With themes of grief, release, self-acceptance, and the quiet resilience of rising hope, the album captures what it means to fall, burn, and rise again.

Growing up with an IEP, Evelyn faced the constant stigma that children with learning plans are often seen as incapable. She was underestimated and dismissed from a young age. Bullied for her passion and her singing, she began to question her worth and her future. But through years of songwriting, she found her way back to herself.

Online, Evelyn became a voice for thousands of kids who saw themselves in her story—openly sharing her healing journey, struggles, and deep emotional truths. This album is her offering to them: a soundtrack for the misfits, the sensitive ones, and anyone who’s ever had to rebuild from the ashes. Because her story isn’t rare—it’s heartbreakingly common. And it’s time those stories were heard.

About

Growing up in the rural backdrop of Paxton, MA, Evelynroze was raised on the sounds of her father’s eclectic music taste, developing a deep-rooted love for classic rock and country. She began performing at just five years old after being scouted from a dance class for a musical theater program—despite being under the age limit. It was on that stage where her passion first took hold. Further shaping her journey, Evelyn was placed on an IEP and faced the stigma and isolation often associated with learning differences, shaking her confidence and making her question whether her dreams were even possible.

Evelynroze is an award-winning and multifaceted singer/songwriter, actress, and advocate whose music charts a course through pain, resilience, and rebirth. Blending the storytelling roots of country, the raw grit of grunge, and the timeless soul of classic rock, her sound is nostalgic, rebellious, and a voice for those still fighting to be heard.

Around age 11, writing music became Evelyn’s escape. However, sharing her voice led to intense bullying over her singing. The more she opened up, the more people tried to tear her down. The pain of being constantly rejected and underestimated never stopped—not even in college. She kept hearing the same voices trying to discredit everything she did. In late high school, she began releasing music, experimenting with multiple genres but ultimately sticking with her Country Rock roots.

Online, she began sharing her healing journey, the process of reclaiming her spark, voice, and power. Her raw transparency around mental health, neurodivergence, and chasing a dream while carrying invisible wounds resonated with thousands of young people who saw themselves in her. Because her story isn’t rare—it’s heartbreakingly common. Having her first viral moments in 2022, she went on to win “Best New Artist 2023” at the WMA’s, and “Best Female Vocalist” and “Best Live Act” in the following years.

In 2024, Evelyn was selected for Plaid Dog’s Rising Artist campaign, where she successfully raised over $10,000 to complete her debut album, Trials of the Flame: Rise of the Sun—which is out now. Her sound is a raw, genre-blending reflection of her influences, drawing inspiration from Stone Temple Pilots, Bailey Zimmerman, Eagles, Alanis Morissette, Rihanna, and LECADE. Evelyn is also an honors graduate from The Hartt School of Music’s Music & Arts Management Program.
